Blind Hem Stitch

I have made a blind hem stitch on the 401 back when I was a kid making clothing.  For some reason tonight I wanted to see how a true blind hem machine works.

I found this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&NR=1&v=QCwzBmPbYS0

Now I want one.

When will it ever stop?

    1. OH... You know me so well. But, as I said to Steven, I have no more room...

  2. That is incredibly cool. It essentially duplicates a hand hem mechanism. But the coolness issue is entirely separate from the "need to own one" issue. I think you implied that you rarely sew, preferring to work on machines. So you don't need one - you aren't going to make that many pairs of dress trousers, are you? Or for that matter, dresses or skirts. I'd love to have one available so I could just go watch it work for a while, but where someone else would take care of it...

    1. Oh Tamar, it is never a question of need. Never. It is that it is so cool and wonderful to watch and makes me feel HAPPY
