A blog devoted to my vintage sewing machines and how I find them, fetch them and fix them.
Beautiful restoration on these. I never heard of a 101-will have to read about these when I get a chance.
Wow! Beautiful! I want to do that too.
Oh my! What lovely machines. I have a Singer 15 that really needs a paint job, but I'm just not set up to do that. Love that teal. Great colors for the Rocketeer.
I'm a die-hard "historically accurate" authentic freak, but OH MY do I love the teal and the orangey-red accent! What a great idea if the original paint is too shot to restore? if Kitchenaid can make mixers in all different lovely colors, why not sewing machines? Food for thought: how awful would it be if I had my Singer (1993, nothing exciting) painted a snazzy leaf green? Pin stripes? Flames? Flames and skulls?!
My opinions: Leaf green, great. Pin stripes, sure. Flames, um... Flames and skulls, no, not unless it's on two wheels and you wear leather to drive it...but hey, it's your machine. It won't hurt me, no matter what you put on it.
Those machines ARE beautiful! THanks for sharing!
Love them! I don't mind crazy painting any machine as long as its still functional. Everythings better with flames on it!
Awesome!! I have so many things to learn - these look very blingy (is that aword?!)
It is now.
I love the colors, too, however I would not want to change my Featherweights ... or my treadle.
