There's a light.....again....

Remember the light from the Necchi BF?  http://mysewingmachineobsession.blogspot.com/2013/12/necchi-bf.html.

I rewired it today.

Yes, I am pleased with myself.

  1. There is nothing like the satisfaction from fixing something that is a complete annoyance making you crazy. Besides the fact that you did not electrocute yourself. Congratulations! I could use a little of your pixie dust on some of my annoyances.

    1. Frigid here. Which precludes wok in the shop. Plus, I have been obsessed with the parts acquisition and who want to hear about my angst?

    3. Wok in the shop? Chinese cooking? That's an idea.

  3. We, "who want to hear about {your} angst", know that you "have been obsessed." And we want to hear about and see your "Sewing Machine Obsessions."

Did you shrink wrap the light wires after all? We just love to see the "juicy" details of your repairs and discoveries. Will you be giving the Necchi a motor too?

PS - a cold repair shop is a lonely place (I've been avoiding mine lately, baking and hovering near my toasty wood stove)

    1. Yes, I did shrink wrap the wires after I soldered them. I thought I had taken photos but got too involved. I did put a new motor on the Necchi as well. Turns out a rebuilt Necchi motor came with the South River Stuff. I installed that after I turned the pulley around. I guess the motor re-builder didn't remember how the pulley was installed. The machine runs well now. I have yet to complete the servicing.
