WHAT IS IT?
Name the part replacing the bobbin case in the shuttle in the above photo. You will know you are right if your post is not published right away. Gotta keep the suspense up !
Thanks for this wonderful blog. The hard part is not telling my DH the latest fascinating thing I've read. I've learned to stop just before his eyes take on that distant, glazed look.
Does it enable the machine to chain stitch?

Just guessing, a chain stitch thingy. Chain stitches are the only thing I know of that replace the bobbin case. Can't wait to find out!
