Ain't it the truth?

I should also add:

Looking for the screw, nut, washer, part I just dropped on the floor.

  1. It is a week and I still can't find my bent tip tweezers that I never walked out of the studio with.

  2. You need a magnet on a long handle. I use mine to sweep for pins & such before the grandbabies come over. It looks a little like a metal detector, but smaller. Just keep it away from your computerized machine, iPhone, laptop, etc.

  3. I'm the same way. Does this mean we're getting old???? I hope not.

  4. This post made me snort out loud with laughter.
From this, can we assume the hook was never found?
I just spent 20 minutes looking for the metal tape measure. Three times I looked in the room that I eventually found it in, lying extended in the doorway. It's not age, it's the number of simultaneous events we process at once. Although truth be told, I think I wasn't this way till I had children. I lost my ability to balance a checkbook without a calculator then, and its been downhill ever since.

    1. The hook is currently unavailable. It will surface. When I was in graduate school, and a single mother, I misplaced my house keys. I was so distraught. I replaced the locks on the apartment myself and at my expense. Three or four weeks later I found them, behind the curtain on a bedroom window seat. I expect the hook will find me again sometime soon.

  5. Me too! - Unfortunately the floor of my studio is deck boards with a space in between each one (converted partioned end of our garage). I'm just looking at vinyl for the floor as I am fed up of pins, needles, screws and bits of attachments dropping through the gaps - then having to lift the boards to try and find them!
