Name that broken part/ Necchi Lydia
I know that the last quiz I offered was not well received. Still I offer this one because I can't help myself. I thank Ed Lamoureux of http://sewing-machines.blogspot.com/ for his post regarding this machine. (That there is a hint, yes it is)
Definitely a cracked cam stack. I had one in my Necchi Lydia so I know it well.
ReplyDeleteYES!!!! YOU WIN!!! Did you replace it? This is a machine I took in for service. I wonder if it is worth replacing?
DeleteOh Oh, I recognized that broken cam stack as well. Darn! I just was not fast enough!!! :)
ReplyDeleteUgh, bad part to to be made out of plastic
ReplyDeleteNo, I sold it to someone who was OK with just a straight stitch. I wouldn't bother replacing it but that's me....
ReplyDeletea cracked cam stack on a necchi lydia
ReplyDeleteWell everyone knew this one. Online the part retails for 160-170. OUCH
DeleteI was guessing a cracked camstack too, but took too long to reply! ;) Are you replacing it?
ReplyDeleteNo. This is not one of our machines. We don't feel that we have enough experience to do it efficiently
