Tidy Up

I tidied the wires on the Bailey today before I quilted the OBW.  I finished the 50 X 60 quilt in an afternoon.  I am practicing without the stitch regulator.  I prefer the sound of the machine "naked"

The many, many, many seams in the hexagons proved a challenge with the foot I was using.  I wonder if a low shank hopping foot would work.  Might have to try it.

  1. The last time I was at Chuck's in the fall, he gave me a hopping foot that was a bit different than the one I got with the machine in June. Works just fine for me. Check out the stitching in Circle Dance on my blog or Frozen.

  2. Your quilt looks amazing there. A quilt with Christmas colors is such a beautiful thing to own. I have a simple patch work throw sized one that is my favorite thing in my Christmas decorations. Sometimes it is on the back of a sofa and this year and last it covered my folding cutting table that was in the corner space that shows behind the tree. You are killing me with all these long armed quilts. Of course I guess I should piece one before I day dream about a quilt machine set up. Keep up the nice work.
